You know, I forgot to comment on the last chapter, but I managed to convince myself Sam took control enough to stab himself instead of Gene, and I was right!
I like Sam being strong enough to fight the Master to save Gene, and of course he'd sacrifice himself like that.

Gene freed him in the end, didn't he? Took him home and looks after him, just like he should. I hope that Sam might one day wake up, but for now, I'm content with him being with Gene.

Great story, you've kept me guessing all the way.

And I had to have Sam fight back, because that's what Sam does. If he thinks something isn't right, he'll fight back/bitch about it until it's changed to something he can deal with.

Guh! I think you broke me just a bit with this - Sam versus the Master, broken Sam that was not Sam at all, and the ending, with Gene's total and utter lack of surprise - it all fits together in such a diabolical way... And in the end, Sam saved Gene before he left him... You are twisted in the best possible way, you know that? Seriously, this was shocking and odd and horrifying and just fantastic!

Wow, what an ending.
First off, glad Gene didn't die. phew!
And Sam figthing through The Master to save him was brilliant!!
I don't really no what to say, except that I feel kinda sad. lol

Well it's not really that unhappy an ending *is perhaps warped* Well, except Sam is gone... Come to think of it... Erm...

I think it just makes so much sense that while Sam can't fight the Master enough to save himself, he can fight to save Gene.
