Almost all 10 items were practically my mantra during my 30's - was really me simply whistling in the dark. While I still kick against the pricks to spite them, I also have amended numba 3 to: Your experiences of suffering over long periods of time have gained you a wisdom and a strange ambivalent outlook toward the next 10 to 20 years that this will last the rest of my lifetime until perhaps the oxymoronic blessing of Alzheimer's and daementia praecox sets in and while it's been horrific for me to witness such a decay in others, at least I'll spared some of my memories and regrets because of the Alzheimer's. In the meantime, I am pleasure=positive and enjoying the parts that are joy-inducing.
