OH!! Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I loved the crews reactions to the letter, they were all perfect. And I so love that Ma Cobb is going to make River a blanket. Is going to match Jayne's? Or maybe something bright pink, hee.

I'm going to guess the stray thought with the flash of purple and guilt was Jayne lusting after her in some way. Perhaps wondering what *she* would taste like, eh? Which is excellent. Guilty Jayne is always so fun.

And I love that Jayne is so utterly oblivious to everyone. Especially that he is confused by Mal telling him he has more friends than Book. It's kind of like he's so used to speaking and just being completely ignored that he doesn't even realize everyone actually listened to him read the letter.

Yes! Ha - yes, it was definitely lust. Maybe I should have said something in the beginning, but due to my obsession with pairing the seven deadly sins with the colors of the rainbow, purple will pretty much always mean lust - if there's meaning. Heh.

Heh - I know. Oblivious!Jayne is fun. And yes! Yes, you got it exactly right.

That's niffty. Purple for lust is the best choice. Red for wrath I'd guess. Green for envy, etc, etc. ♥

Yup yup! For me it's: red-wrath, orange-gluttony, yellow-sloth, green-envy, blue-pride (also in this fic, with Mal), indigo-avarice, and purple-lust. Hee. I'm sort of obsessed with that idea; I have a whole 'nother fic in another fandom just with that idea.

Hee. D'aww, I love when people enjoy my stories. And yeah - ahh, the remix. I really only wrote it so I could use my "the integral of one over us..." line. Integrals are sort of my demons, so this is my revenge! *laughs*

I like Jayne's mum in this and the reaction of the crew to her letter. Mal saying he does have friends is cute and I like River getting him away before the recriminations! The guilt is because River licked the ice planet right?? It's cute she still has difficulty with them.
