So, I don't know what happened, but I went back to chapters 2 and three to refresh and it looks like I didn't comment on two and I completely missed reading 3 the first time around. This really is a great story.

I love how we're not seeing anything, but we know that something is going on. Of course, I also hate that. XD Bring on the open Rayne smut groping kissage relationship. ;) Erm, but yes, I love the way you've set up the narrative.

Heh - I know what you mean! I was actually a little worried about that - how there's so little Rayne. I try to have at least one tiny moment, but it is getting to the point where things between them'll start to sort of heat up. I just have to figure out exactly how I want everything to go... Hee.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! Hee. It's a complete blast to write. Yup - the meddling is funny, but it won't be long before River realizes just what exactly it is her brother is trying to do. Heh. The next chapter should be coming soon!

Well, right now River doesn't know. I mean, she knows that they're trying to find her a "boyfriend" and she knows that Simon and Inara are suspicious of her friendship/relationship with Jayne, but she doesn't know that Simon's seen proof of anything more. He's been like super-super careful not to let her know he knows.
