Wow, this is excellent! I really enjoyed this, it's heartbreaking, but in a good way, okay, I know, that doesn't make sense, but it's beautifully written. Very, very well done.

I was really going for that sort of get-at-you-sideways feel, I think the "heartbreakin, but in a good way" is a really high compliment! Hee. That's pretty much what I wanted.

This was so powerful and brilliant in the way it shatters the heart with each line that echoes in Chuck's mind. The memories of what happened and what's happening are like ghost and vellum slides.
Marvelous.

Oh wow, thank you! Wow, what a great comment - I really wasn't expecting such a good response. Heh.

But yeah, that's the feel I was trying to achieve. I used present tense to really put you right there, but I set it during the "morning after" to have a sort of filmy screen in front of the emotions that they were really feeling.

Ooh, bunny. Man, that would make a good fic... *laughs* Well, I'll definitely consider it - I would love to write a scene with Chuck standing up for himself. Hmm, looks like I've got a new project!

Heh - not even Casey knows what's going on in his head. I think that he cares for Chuck platonically and there's physical attraction, but he won't even let himself begin to consider that there's more. He hates that he needs Chuck, but even the guilt he feels when he gives in is starting to become something he has to have. Hee.
