...sir. You and Greed are invincible. I wish to be invincible as well, so that I may be a more perfect soldier, and so that I may be able to play with Luki and Noki without them having to hold back. How do I become invincible?

...you're a simple creature, aren't you? ....maybe that is what E-0057 meant.
Piloting. ... a Mobile Suit. ... They are the most beautiful thing, besides space. Space is beautiful; there's nothing there but the things we put there, and light.

I will say, Soma, as far as I'm concerned, you're a human. If you are a weapon, you are a weapon. Weapons don't question it.
And Soma, I'm not some simple creature. I am capable of thought and emotions. I'm not some drooling monster that can be destroyed. Simple? No. I know my existence, I make myself enjoy it.
As far as I'm concerned, you're the one who lives a simple existence. Mumbling about their purpose, complaining about it, instead of finding a new one.
Despite being ripped apart, and laying atop a pile of corpses, I lived. And I shouldn't have. There is nothing admirable about thinking immortality is the only way. I got rebuilt, given a body that can't be destroyed.
A weapon should be grateful for their existence, and a human has to do it on their own. The fact that you believe you need to be "told" it, makes you the simple creature.
