I just wrote a two page poem for my brother
For his creative writing class
So I could write about whatever I want
So i wrote about Autumn. How much I Love it.
All of the amazing things that come with these few months.
It was wonderful.

YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL.
your mind makes me melt away to nothing.
and your antics make me smile til my cheeks hurt.
the similarities between us are scarily wonderful.
your courage to ask and to tell makes me feel alive.
most of all, i love how little faith you have.
it's absurd how quickly i could fall for you.

i'm a sad excuse for a human.
and i can't let anyone know why.

Was I ever crazy? Maybe. Or maybe life is.
Crazy isn't being broken or swallowing a dark secret. It's you or me amplified.
If you ever told a lie and enjoyed it. If you ever wished you could be a child forever.

I'm over it. And onto something else I'm not over.
