I just need time to stop. I know  it can't go backwards and going forward is inevitable but for the moment I just need it to stop

And here I'm wishing for time to move forward faster. I wonder if this is why time doesn't always seem to flow right--too many people on the planet trying to influence it, so that it only roughly balances out.
