What's weird is that, in town, we haven't gotten all that much rain at all. I keep hearing about all this massive rain, and we did have a nice slow rain last night, but definitely not the levels other people outside the city are reporting.

I found these two little guys in one of the puddles and put them in the pond. The pond has come up at least a foot. We had massive flooding this morning. Pretty crazy storm.

There are a few fuses left in that pile. I'm totally going to try them when they dry out. Maybe I'll leave a couple on the grill to help it along.

Yes. Pretty sure they're native here, although I know they're invasive most other places.

Must be up the hill from there. Probably up in the top part of the property somewhere.

I've since seen them in the pond. They seem happy there.
