Summary: The Cultverse truth behind the CFOB Mixtape and Viral Marketing.

Ashlee is actually the one who gives Pete the idea of the viral marketing. They’re sitting on the floor across from each other, Rigby and Hemmy cuddling up to them. Ashlee has a faraway look in her eyes, red hair glinting in the candle light.

“People appreciate the most what they have to work for,” She says, petting Rigby’s head.
Pete nods, because he knows it’s true.

“Bettering yourself would be worthless if it wasn’t hard,” Ashlee says, sipping on her soda.

It’s like a lightbulb turns on, because Pete suddenly has a perfect idea.

“You’re a genius,” he says, giving Ashlee a kiss on her forehead. Ashlee smiles.
“I know,” she says.

Pete uses Citizens for Our Betterment because that’s what they are. They want to make you better through the Message, and what’s more effective than giving the Message to people who are willing to work for it and spread it on their own?

So Pete calls everyone short of Gerard and Tyson to contribute. The Cab and Cassadee from Hey Monday are especially enthusiastic, and Gabe jumps at the chance to poke fun at Katy Perry and spread The Cobra at the same time. Tyga is just happy to be included in the Decaydance Family’s activities.

In fact, the only people reluctant at all are Panic at the Disco. Ryan is stubborn. He refuses to give a song to be remixed and he won’t do a manifesto, either. Pete is starting to think that maybe it’s time to have some Quality Time with Panic again when Jon comes up with the solution. Clearly Pete made the right decision in giving Jon to Panic.

“We’ll give you Northern Downpour, but you can’t remix it. And…we’ll give you a song from the Wolf Musical, just don’t say it’s us. And we’re not doing a manifesto,” Jon says.

Pete grins and lets Ryan have his way for now. Ryan will be singing a different tune when Pete has Brendon sing on Folie, and the wolf musical song is worth it, even without the message, just to see the Fangirls heads explode.

Pete calls them the Citizens For Our Betterment because that’s what Pete wants to give everyone, Betterment, and that’s what they’re going to get. It works better than Pete could have hoped, too. His followers are even more absorbed in the Message than ever and they will bring change to a hurting world.

Welcome to the New Administration.
