anonymous commenter above, i think your child has an amazing future ahead with her personality and creativity. if you do duct tape her [ever so briefly], it's just a future story with which she can amaze and delight.

as for getting something off my chest, how about an all-encompassing "I have no idea what I'm doing even when it seems like I know what I'm doing and I hope I can look back and say I knew at least 10% of what I was doing."

I hate needing to be sympathetic to people. Everyone has their own shit to deal with and validating everyone's trauma is exhausting.

That, and people whine way too fucking much in U.S. Is life really that bad? It's not like you don't have a house, food, or are being shot at.

People just need to STFU and be thankful. And when they do whine, make it count.

Several times a year, I reach a point where I wish the zombie apocalypse would actually come. Not only so I could see what it's like, but so I could shoot all the people I dislike in the face because they had turned.
