Medicinal Chemistry factoid of the day: before Alexander Litvinenko was diagnosed with lethal poisoning by polonium-210, he was believed to have poisoned with thallium. The thing is, his murderers would have been better off using thallium - the symptoms of Tl poisoning are general and common. Headaches, nausea, hair loss - all of these can be ( Read more... )

ngl, I really don't approve of your smoking/drinking/drugs/whatever but I'm not going to tear you out for it. You're free to do with your own life as you see fit.

Just wait. The bangs come towards the end of the course. Bangs and exploding poo and screaming jellybabies.

Da-yum, woman! You're fueling my mirror!verse muse, as well! Plus, I knew there was a whole host of good reasons why I stuck with focusing in the chem-oriented area of things over in neuro/psych, versus general bio/med. Umm... other than the fact that chemistry is made of awesome, that is ;)

And oooo, Howl's Moving Castle! It's been way too long since I watched that movie... I think I might follow your lead when bedtime rolls around.

I swear, every day they reveal yet another creepy medicinal chemistry fact that is basically just more ways to have mirror!McCoy torture people. It's not helping my psyche, it really isn't.

Chemistry is the greatest, ngl.

HOWL. I just realised that I only have the film with me and not the book :( badtimes, but at least it's pretty to look at. oh my GOD MY FINGERS ARE FREEZING.

I linked it in my latest post, duuuuude.

I did it! It's crap but I DID IT, this is what matters. Even if I did do a ridiculous amount of research on Victorian theatre in the middle. If you can find me a synopsis of Sardou's Odette I might just love you forever. And now to do coursework.
