OOH, MOVING TO AUSTRALIA! HOW EXCITING! :D Sorry for the caps, but I'm actually really excited for you!

I've done the opposite, like you say, and moved from Australia to London haha, but before I did that, I hadn't been to England since I was 6 years old, and had no idea if I'd like it or if I'd be able to manage it, and it's been so much easier than I imagined it would! Honestly, if it's something that you want to do, just do it. Don't let people try and talk you out of it with silly reasons like that. Take a leap and it often works out :) And if not, you'll still have an awesome experience under your belt. Australia is brilliant and I'm not just saying that because it's my home country :P

If you need any info that the book doesn't give you, I'd be happy to help! :) (also, perhaps I am biased because I'm from there, but Sydney is by far the best place to live).

I was so hoping you'd read/comment on this! :D

I was thinking more of Melbourne or Brisbane (they have games studios based there) but I'm reading up on EVERYWHERE! At the moment I'm also looking up how to go about finding somewhere to live, what the jobs market is like, etc etc. Once I know what I have to do I'm then going to start looking at timescale :) Obviously I can't move til near the end of 2011 though.

But yay! for the positive help! :D Thank you!
