Wow. That certainly beats the sketchiest motel I ever stayed at, the cheapest motel in Macon, GA.

The wildlife does sound pretty. Did you take any pictures?

Good Indian food would be quite nice, for a while. ;-) I was trying to go to Micronesia once as part of an extended (several month) service project; sadly, that ended up getting cancelled by the sponsors for reasons I may have forgotten.
