So the AVM meeting was pretty awesome. I may just be overenthused because it was my first one, but I learned a lot, got some good info, made some awesome contacts... and my brain feels all big and squishy and smart. Which is never a bad thing :D

Will they let you bring your laptop on the plane? With all of that shit in the UK, I heard rumors that people had to check all electronic devices into cargo.

Honestly I'm not sure. The last time I flew I saw something that basically refused to let anyone take laptops in cargo. I guess they don't want to be responsible for throwing all your luggage around.

Okay, checked the airport website and the TSA page. Electronics are fine, and screened 'as usual'. Just no gels and liquids.
