I have a huge presentation today at noon, a "Lunch & Learn" during which I will demo our (*ahem!* award-winning) Intranet to the company. The thing has been up and running since December (did I mention we just won an award on it?) and it's pretty much my "baby," but people just aren't really using it like we'd hoped, so this presentation is ( Read more... )

I've never dreamed about making a powerpoint, but I've sure dreamed about using them -- AV fiasco dreams are a standard teaching-anxiety dream for me!

Now I also have exam-anxiety dreams, except of instead of being unprepared to take the test, I turn up at the exam and realize that I haven't written the test. ::rolls eyes forever::

Sometimes in a dream, I try to read something so I know if it's a dream or not. Also sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I can't tell if I'm awake or still asleep, so I read something. If I can't read it, it's a dream. What will happen is that it's all confusing letters and numbers. I can see the words but it doesn't make sense.

I have to pee a lot during the night. Usually I get up and go, but sometimes I just have intense dreams about trying to find a bathroom. This is a useful exercise for before I let go while sitting on the toilet, just to be sure I'm where I think I am, and I'm not just dreaming I'm there. :)

I really hate working in my dreams though, because then I just have to wake up and do it all over again.

Oh man, so you guys have "Lunch & Learn" sessions too. We've just started doing those. Now I know that that particular term wasn't made up by someone here. :-)

Good luck!
