For the second year in a row, I've managed to screw up my taxes. I sent them off a month ago and the IRS politely returned them to me today. Oops. Like last year's mishap, it's a fairly minor thing, but next year, it may finally be time to give my taxes over to someone else to deal with ( Read more... )

I know... and the more I read, the worse it gets. :( And the stories of incredible bravery and self-sacrifice are like a kick in the teeth. :(

I usually read CNN.com all day long and I just can't even look at it anymore. :( It's like the London bombings... so many lives senselessly ripped away.

I understand. VA Tech is not far from here and I've known a bunch of students there. It just seems so surreal that this nice campus a few hours away was the scene of such a massacre.

It does kinda make your own problems seem insignificant.

I've been using TurboTax for the web the last several years. It's less than having HR Block prepare the taxes and they guarantee accuracy.
