The only way you're going to learn to be able to make decisions for yourself is to step up and just make them. Stop making excuses and just do it. And once you make a few, you'll be fine from there.
And your parents can't force anything you say out of a psychologist. If they did, you could sue the psych for breach of confidentiality.
There are probably also programs you could look into for free or cheap therapy, if you end up with no health insurance. You'll have to hunt around and you'll have to do paperwork, but it's possible.
hey buddy... i'll be in town until the 14th. i will be working most afternoons/evenings but my nights are mostly free (starting at 6 or 9, depending on my schedule). give me a ring any time you want to get out of the house or whatever
