I was searching on YT for the Tokimemo PC-Engine trailer in order to mention it one of my comments of yesterday's entry, and that remembered me about this video.

In Tokimeki Memorial 1, you get to have some mock little battles, Final Fantasy-style. One occurs automatically during your field trip (you fight a beast, which depends from the game version you play - as in the SNES version, the trips location are in Australia and China, and in the PS1 one, it's in Hokkaidô, Okinawa and if I remember right Ôsaka - and the location of the field trip you choose), another other occurs if you're in a club and get it a special move from it (you fight some delinquents and their leader, Banchô), and the last one near the end of the game if Yuina is in Tokimeki state (you fight Yuina's Robot).
The fight here in on the PS1 version, and is the field trip one.
