Who are you calling an old lady?

...and why are you in Tokyo? I thought NUNS would still be running you through the new-recruit wringer.

So are you just going to quit and go back to your usual antics with the speaker-gun-thing?

[Equipped with her usual disguise (which somehow seems to work every single time), Sheryl listens in on Milia's conversation.]

Unless you're an interstellar superstar, I doubt that anyone here will know your name.

Is an interstellar war hero so much to ask for recognition?

*quick but obvious glance down* You obviously grew up in space. Have you heard of Do You Remember Love?

I've heard the song and know generally what happened. What person doesn't know about Lynn Minnmei?

I was specifically looking for the movie, but now that you mention it, she's not as big of a name on Earth. I guess people here never saw the war twenty years ago firsthand, so they don't realize how close they came to getting up and obliterated if not for her.

[Aya happens to be out shopping as well, using her down time between missions to look for new outfits to wear when she's not in her pilot gear. She's bought a new summer outfit, complete with a straw hat, along with a somewhat revealing swimsuit and some other miscellaneous items.

Unfortunately, she doesn't really seem to be watching where's she's going, and-]

Oof! Ah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there...

Nice psychic powers there Aya. ace_mayor May 5 2010, 17:29:46 UTC
[Thankfully, being mostly a civilian for the last decade, Milia's used to full gravity and avoids getting knocked completely on her ass. She does have to scramble somewhat to keep her Epic Hat on]

You should probably pay more attention then!

Do you know everyone in Tokyo?

Although...most of the other people I've run into in this part of town seem to work for the GDF. I suppose that's what you mean?

No, for the last time, there's a movie about me. Well, about a war I played a big part in.

Ahaha, 2/2 sorry ace_mayor May 5 2010, 18:35:31 UTC
Although I technically had a narrator part when Macross 7 produced a version of it...that was surprisingly fun.

Uhm, excuse me, miss. I think I know what you're talking about but.. Well... See, the thing about it is...

Oh, an Earthnoid with some sense of history, finally. So did it ever actually get brought out down here, or did you import it from one of the fleets?

dual_ity_pta May 6 2010, 17:45:12 UTC
Actually... well... It's kind of an older show where I'm from. If I could access the net from back home, I could probably find it but... Well, that's what makes this kind of strange...

ace_mayor May 6 2010, 18:06:24 UTC
An older version, hm? Those tended to be a little more exciting, if much less accurate...

Well, what's so strange about it, anyway? Don't stammer so much, you'll never impress any girls that way.
