My Complaints About Time Travel in Popular Fiction

1. Time is NOT a single, solitary stream. It’s closer to an infinitely branching tree. Everything that could happen, has happened. Every individual decision, if gone another way, is represented in an alternate universe. I don't think there's proof either way on time being linear or branching universes, and a lot of the grammar is personal preference.
