Shame, shame, S H A M E on you!
The last couple of days I’ve been a little bit under the weather, so I’ve been snooping around in the crazy world of LJ and fic rec’s (more than usual….).
I have been checking out some sites with older recs which means that some of the stories are finished long ago, and I might have missed them, since I haven't been doing this for so long...so yey! :)
But what I did notice is that a lot of the writers in here have f-locked their journals, not just personal postings, but also their fics, and who can blame them?
I am utterly stunned to see the reasoning for this, because a lot of it is due to the fact that some nosy bastards goes around and copy their stories and alter them and repost them as their own.
Well, I have one thing to say about that: SHAME ON YOU!
What kind of people does something like that? Don’t people have some decency and respect for other people?
These things aren’t just rude, they are also hurtful and despicable, and I can’t believe, that people do things like this… I can tell you one thing; your mother would be ashamed of you!
I will be the first to admit that I envy the knowledge and the way these people can make simple words seem so much more that what they are, namely words. But that doesn’t give me the right or the wish to copy and make their stories mine. If I ever write something that I would be comfortable with posting in LJ I want it to be mine, not some rip-off from somebody who actually can write.
Also, people who comments on fics with hurtful and angry words, what the hell is wrong with you people, GREEN IS NOT YOU COLOR!!!!
For christ sakes people, get some lives, and stop putting other people down because their are good at something and you're not, it's defently not a way to make friends, and it's sure is hell is not a way too act towards people you don't know.... As all mothers tells theirs children when they are growing up: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't bother with saying anything at all!!!!
So to everybody who writes on LJ, who has given me a lot of hours with good stories and “worlds” I am truly sorry that people apparently don’t have any decency, and if I could, even though I don’t really believe in torture, I would gladly do some if I get a hold of one of them!
Ok…I’m done with my ranting…
On a happier note: It’s Friday, Easter is here and the sun is showing itself and letting us know that spring and summer is coming and a beer outdoors on a restaurant or café is highly possible :)
