hey, i know this is totallly random but you're going to u of redlands right? i got accepted there and im going to visit in during spring break, but what can you tell me about it? why do you like it so much? nicky told me that you are for sure going there.id love to hear what you think about it!
hey! dude that's awesome. when i first visited i was really skeptical because of the location (there's pretty much nothing worth going to within a half-hour radius), but my mom pointed out that so many colleges are in horrible areas, and this one is so close to LA, palm springs, orange county, san diego, etc etc. plus that situation would probably encourage a strong social life. the campus is so pretty; the main buildings are really old and classic, there are palm trees literally everywhere, and the mountains behind the school have snow on them. some dorm rooms have bathrooms! when you're a junior or senior (or if you are friends with one) you can move into newly-built two to four bedroom apartments that the school rents for students, and they are basically on campus. classes vary from about five people to thirty, with up to 150 in seminars. teachers build relationships with the students, and since i go to a school that does that now, i've realized how cool that actually is. about ten percent of people are involved in the greek system
( ... )
oh yeah and even though it's a relatively small school, each person isn't just another face in the crowd. a guy i met with that works there said that although it's pretty small, everyone continues to meet new people along the four years so it's really a perfect size socially.
