last night i had two really cool dreams that kind of melded together. it was like, i had the first one, woke up, thought about how much i wanted to go back into that dream, then fell back asleep and had the second one, which had aspects of the first one. in the first one, i was going out with a guy who looked like paul dano. he lived in the room

I was thinking of seeing The Black Dahlia with my mom. Was there a lot of gore in it? How was it disappointing?

well, relative to most horror movies, no there wasn't much gore, but there was a lot considering that it didn't seem necessary. it was more like the director said, hey here's an opportunity for some gore, even though it's not really appropriate for the scene. the movie was not what i expected. i expected it to be all about the dead girl, but it was really mostly about the detective's life. i just thought it kindof dragged. there were some other things, but i won't tell you about them if you're planning on seeing it. :)
