I really enjoy the way you write these two. I've always found that I like the way Ryan & Colin are written best by people who don't ship them hardcore. Maybe it's just my personal tastes, but I usually find them too shmoopy, and Ryan is so far from shmoopy it's not even funny. :P

And aw, what a sweet ending. ^_^ But not overly sweet! (Can you tell I'm not a fluff fan? :P) Seriously, though, I'm incredibly picky about my Ryan characterization, and though this was short and therefore not a true test of your talents, this is one of the few Ryan characterizations that I actually like.

Oh, thank you so much. It's such a huge compliment to hear that you felt I was able to get Ryan's characterization down well in this. It'll probably never happen again (good characterization, I mean; I may try my hand at these two again eventually), but I'm thrilled that you liked it :)

I agree that Ryan is SO not a scmoopy guy. And you know, usually I tend to lean towards angst as well, but you wouldn't know it from some of the ridiculousness I've written recently, haha! ;) I don't know that this pairing lends itself to super duper fluffyness anyway, or at least not in my head.

Anyway, I'm glad I was able to do the pairing justice. As I've already mentioned, I really loved writing both of these fics :). Thanks again for such warm compliments! :)
