Oh. Oh. Oh... I love this fic so very much. So glad to see a Jeff/Chip story, especially one as wonderful as this :)

I love the intensity of their first meeting, where Jeff at least recognizes that something huge has just happened. And this...

It’s the kind of thing you can’t fake - either you have it or you don’t, and everything about Chip oozes sincerity.

...not that I know Chip, but I have met him (briefly) and I really think he's as sincere and warm as Jeff sees him from the start. It's true, you can't fake that.

The friendship-y love of the hospital scene is so sweet. I adore the way Chip takes care of Jeff, and the humor of the scene too. Throughout his life, Jeff has heard warnings against dancing on swivel chairs. Now he understands the wisdom of those words. Ha ( ... )

Thank you so, so much for your incredible kindness! I'm beyond thrilled that this fic worked for you. I have this thing where even though I shouldn't be writing RPF to begin with I want to pay attention to canon/facts and make it as realistic as possible. So I'm so pleased to hear that you felt the progression was realistic and believable. I had a LOT of fun writing this.

I know they aren't together, and VERY likely never will be, but I genuinely believe that they probably could work as a couple. Or at least, they do in my head, haha! ;)

Thank you so much for your feedback on all the different sections of the fic. It's so nice to hear what people enjoyed about it. I will say I agree that Chip leaving his wife could've been a good place to end it, but I also agree that that wouldn't have felt realistic to me.

Anyway, this isn't a very useful reply, but please know that your review made me SO HAPPY and I'm super, ridiculously happy that you enjoyed this fic. Thanks again ♥

lol, yeah, I have gotten past most qualms about writing RPF, though there are a FEW things I can't make myself write about when I'm dealing with real people. I think you did a great job with the canon too, but if you don't mind a slight bit of concrit, I'm about 99.99% sure Jeff's first name is Jeffrey, not Jefferson. I know Greg calls him that sometimes, and that's led to it showing up on Wikipedia and places like that. But that doesn't take away from the story at all :)

I have your other story downloaded on my Kindle and am hoping to find time to sit down and read it very soon :)

I've been writing RPF for a couple of years now... so I'm mostly over any concerns I may have had at one point. But yeah, there are still definitely places I won't go ;).

That is SO interesting re: Jeff's name, because IMDB says it's Jefferson as well. So I was like, "All right, well then I guess that's that..." I'm in the process of trying to nail it down for certain, but if I get confirmation that it's Jeffrey, then I'll just edit that in the story! Thanks for that bit, though. It's important that I know these things, LOL ;)

And yay for the other story! I haven't had that much fun writing a fanfic in a VERY long time, so I hope you enjoy it! :D

What does it say that I can just see the expressions on their face when you write them? Especially when they're looking at each other, like there is no one else on earth. :-D

Aww, you're too sweet! I was NOT expecting you to read this at all, so what a pleasant surprise. Thanks for your kindness, hon! Perhaps the reason it's not so hard to imagine the expressions on their faces is because that's how they really DO look at each other in real life? Seriously... these two just adore one another and neither makes any attempt to hide it. I can't get enough of these awesome guys ;).

Anyway, that's a huge compliment, though, so thank you so much :D

(You should really be yelling at me for not writing Bradley/Colin though, LOL! ;D)

Aww, well thank you so much! You don't have to come back to leave a longer review. This is just lovely on its own! (Of course, I wouldn't complain either, mind you!) But thank you. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it ♥

Geez, I'm a dork. Posted this comment in the wrong spot. LOL

Take #2:

There is just so much that is wonderful in this fic that I don't even know where to begin (unless it's with all your avatars OMG!).

You've totally nailed both of their voices and what I would think of as their off-screen personalities as well. I love the natural, honest progression of both the story and Jeff's evolving feelings for Chip. It's so easy to take a relationship between men (especially two comedians) and make it less than what it is. I admire your ability to show their emotion, their affection, their attraction without making either of them appear weak, foolish (well, aside from dancing on the swivel chair, but then, Vegas will do that to you), or anything else.

Just a wonderful job all around! Look forward to more of your fics of ANY kind!

Wow, thank you so much! I'm so thrilled that you felt I was able to do their relationship/personalities justice. To me, that's one of the highest compliments I can ever receive, because it's SO important to me that I portray them as genuinely and realistically as possible. So thank you so much for your kindness, and for assuring me that I was able to do that.

And yes, alas... alcohol + Vegas = not always super smart decisions, LOL ;)

Thanks again! This comment meant the world to me :D

Also, cute icon! Love Zachary Levi ♥

You're so welcome! I try to give encouragement where I can, especially in an area I'd never venture - I have no issues with writing original fiction, but fanfic? It scares me.

It's also very refreshing to see someone able to pull it off so well. Too often you stumble across stuff and you thing, "WHY?" LOL

*snickers* Having spent the majority of my adult life in Sin City... yeah. LOL

Heh. How could you not love Zachary Levi? He's my hero. Well, he and Jeff Davis anyway. :)

Keep writing! Looking forward to more fun stuff of all varieties!

Well, I greatly appreciate the encouragement! This fandom has been so incredibly kind to me I'm almost overwhelmed by the amazing feedback I've received.

Yeah, I've been doing original and fanfic writing for as long as I can remember. I was writing fanfic before I even knew what it (or fandom) was, so I guess it's somehow ingrained in me, LOL ;)

I am so pleased that you think I was able to pull this off well, though. You have no idea how much that means to me :)

Zachary Levi is like everything I could want in a man, LOL! He's adorable and hot and sweet and nerdy and just so genuine! GUH :D Also, he's an amazing actor and has a gorgeous singing voice and I just love him, haha! ♥

Anyway, thanks again! More is definitely on the way ;)
