LOL! Yes, I'm learning slowly...;) And LMAO. I have written penetration before; this just didn't feel appropriate in the situation, hee! ;) But that's okay, because now we have something to strive towards next year, hee ;)

Anyway, I'm really pleased that you liked this, though. I had no real desire to include Gwen or Morgana, and they would have been completely unnecessary anyway. Usually I like to touch on the Arthur/Gwen stuff just to excuse it away, but it didn't feel needed in this for some reason ;). And I love Gwaine something fierce, so of course he had to make an appearance!

Oh, Arthur, you poor thing.

Just looking at how worried he was about Merlin in series 1, II can only imagine his stress if Merlin got kidnapped at this point in the show.

Yeah, the whole kidnapping plot would be lovely to explore on the show, perhaps not quite with this result (LOL, can you imagine? ;D), but at least with Arthur showing he actually really cares about Merlin. That's been sorely missing for quite a while now, IMHO.

I loved it! There's a sense in canon that Arthur's lost a little of his drive to save Merlin and look after him (in a sense, and possibly because we haven't had to see him do it really, which would be nice for the next series maybe?) so reading this is just wonderful. This is how I want Arthur to be, really. Caring and worried about Merlin.
