IT'S THE APOCALYPSE.

Hmm. I didn't - and still don't, to be honest - know much about Kendra until I ran into her in the bar, so I'm probably not the best person to comment on how you're doing compared to her canon, but I can tell you this: I love Kendra. Love. I'm so happy Clark has gotten to know her as well as he does, because he needs someone like her in his life that he can go to, even reluctantly, and talk about things that he really won't talk to with anyone else.

It means so much to him and me that he has this opportunity, and the way you have her interact with him is about perfect. She knows when to push and when to back off and when to push again. And when to make him laugh. So I say to you, good job. <3

Thank you. That means a lot to me, particularly when I'm having a rough time in real life. That just lifted my spirits considerably! <3

I shall have to work on getting you to read some of Kendra's awesome canon, won't I? PREPARE FOR DIGITAL ONSLAUGHT.

Kendra's hard, because some writers depict her as very literate and worldly, once she started to get all of her memories back from her past lives, and some writers depict her as sort of...not talking about that stuff much, unless she's around Hawkman or people she knows well, and as still somewhat untrusting and not verbose. I try to draw a balance between the two, but honestly, I really like how she was written in the Hawkman series, because she's when she REALLY came into her own, opened up, and started really digging on things like archaeology and art and talking more about film and such, and that's the Kendra that I like best. But I worry that people who've never read Hawkman think that I write her as far more talkative than she was in the JSA.
