Awh. I have such fond memories of a Blake's 7 version of that list I once printed out (on tractor paper!) off the internet back in the glory days of Netscape 3.0 and stuck to my bedroom wall. In fact, you inspired me to go to the great labour of googling it. I found it here, if anyone's interested. Less thoughtful than yours, because it's all quotes.
Yeah, it's just Thursday here (for another hour and a half), though someone in my neighbourhood was setting off fireworks earlier for some reason that was probably more meaningful to him/her than "Thursday".
Oh, wow. How is it with lines such as these that I have never been involved in this fandom? Seriously, I read in fandoms all the time where I know nothing about the canon. I can't imagine I haven't read in this one. Perhaps I should dig out my old zines and see if I can find some Bake 7 fic. Or, you know, look on-line.
I have a TOS book with quotes that I refer to often. Though they didn't use TOS quotes for the Star Trek poster. They were similar to mine, though obviously TOS-related.
I love this idea. HP really is the font of all wisdom...
I think my favourite ones are: Camping really is every bit as dull as it sounds. I so agree. The power of love cannot be denied. But being the Master of the Elder Wand doesn't hurt either. LOL. Anything done for the greater good rarely works out well for the individual(s) involved. Do y ou hear that, Albus Dumbledore? Don't let yourself get taken in by anything that only lets you see what you want to see. This one is why Luna is one of my favourite characters.
I tend to really like the more thought-provoking ones with just a hint of humor. Though most people don't generally like the funny ones. So I was glad two of those ended up on your list of favorites. ;D
And I adore Luna. I think she would have been a much better match for Harry than Ginny. But I do understand why it had to be Ginny and not her. Such a shame, really. Though that leaves her free for Snape.
