It's nice to have someone around that's fun and excited about life, but it would be nice if they didn't require supervision.
I had a boyfriend that "baked", meaning started a mess that I finished and cleaned up after. He'd still take pictures of his creation and email them to his mom. I think this is how I learned to bake a lot of things, because otherwise I probably cba.
So, really hot oil plus semi-naked bits? How did that story end?
ETA: Oooo, the "semi-" in the wrong place was amusingly insulting, but totally not intended.

I know! Though at least my husband doesn't require me to entertain him. My father is like that. No matter what he'd do, he needed an audience. Now I just look in on Al periodically to make sure the house is still standing and he has most of his limbs still attached.
How did that story end?
Not as tragically as I would have liked since him coming away completely unscathed only encourages him to do even dumber things. Is it Monday yet? *sigh*
I find myself dreading the approach of both since it means people who are usually not around to bother me will be underfoot.
Ha ha, I can so relate to that.
I'm very lucky though, because my other half has a hobby that takes him away from home every Saturday, plus the last Sunday of the month. When he is home, he's usually watching TV. He also goes to bed pretty early.
Al actually does entertain himself. The trouble is the things he does to entertain himself usually either screw up my routine (and I am the opposite of flexible when it comes to routines) or makes a gigantic mess. Though at least he doesn't require my constant attention. My father is like that. He didn't actually want you to do anything, but he always wanted an audience.

My all-time least favorite habit of my ex-husband's was when he'd stand In Another Room Where I Could Not See Him and ask, "Honey, what is this?"
"A big pink elephant. How should I know? I CAN'T SEE YOU!"

I'm not sure how I'd cope if he was like Al!
