ship induced pressure, that is a good phrase. though i suppose i only get the opposite of it - when i'm writing a ship that isn't ~my ship, i tend to be like AHHHH IS THIS OKAY??? but i do know how the other side of it is. i used to have it a lot in KH fandom, i think because i was writing to requests 90% of the time so i hardly ever sat down and wrote xalxig for my own self and when i did i felt like it wasn't good enough.

but you should just write percy/nico forever. not that i'm biased or anything.

yeah i get what you mean about that, writing something you don't ship is a little frustrating, but i don't write much anyway because i'm waaaay too self concious about this shit. mostly i start writing and then i get about half way and give up because i'm silly... OH WELL

percy/nico is hot, shhh, i'm allowed to ship percy with everyone because he is such a whore
