Hey lovely reccers,

I've got a kind of strange request. I'm looking for a fic for my mom to read.

I second amuly's proof list. A couple of others have written something similar, but hers was written post-DH, so it takes everything into account. *nods*

Whenever anyone asks for "well written HP", I have to rec copperbadge. For your mom, how about the PG-version of "Pilgrimage". It's a one-shot, and it's set just after Hogwarts, but otherwise fits your request.

For a long arc of stories that develop Sirius/Remus well, I recommend thistlerose's Midnight Conversations Arc, but give your mom just one story in the arc to get her toes wet: She Will Have Music. Sirius visits Remus in the hospital wing, and Remus learns a secret that Sirius has never shared with anyone else.

And whenever I think of "teenage Sirius and Remus figure out that they fancy each other" fics, I think of The Dating Disasters of Sirius Black by KabeyK. It's rated R, but I don't remember anything too graphic. You might want to preview it before reccing it to your mom.
