It's only one week in, but already the boredom that inevitably comes with summer break is setting in on me. But I'm sure fanfiction is the best cure, so I'm on a fic search for some summer reading! Firstly I'm looking for any Marauder-era fics set in summer. I'd love some sweet little already-together fics, but I'd really like some with either

We can't let you get bored! So, for Remus with a child, read the short AU "Play Dates" by deathjunke in which he is raising his young foster sister, Luna.
Longer but a must read is the classic AU "Lost and Found" by forest_rose in which Remus and Sirius meet thanks to wee Harry, who is being raised by his godfather.

For summer fics, I could just send you willy nilly to dogdaysofsummer. Really, they were all remarkably good but I'll probably relent and come back with specific links.

I also adore R.A.B. but I'm a canon hore so my recs would tend to be gen and range from angsty to gut wrenching! If you're still interested, I'll start gathering.......

Ahhh, for once an excuse to rec myself! *lol shameless* Corporeagua is a get-together fic (since that's basically all I'm good at) and takes place almost solely in Marauders-era summers.

I also second werewolfsfan's rec of Play Dates for your Remus+child request.

Regulus: The Generous Gift of Protection. It's great on Sirius+Regulus awkward brother times and has a little bit of R/S as well! :)
