Saturday Morning - Staff Table at Breakfast

Simon made a point to cage a seat next to Lars. He took small servings of bangers, mash, and hot buttered bread. He didn't like to do magic on a full stomach after all. And since it was Saturday, he hoped that Lars had lots of magic for him to do.

"Good morning Professor," Simon offered as he passed the bread plate. "Did you rest well?"

Lars nods and takes a piece of the bread, biting a bit off it. "What about you? Ready for a lesson?"

Simon nodded, licking butter off his lips. "I'm looking forward to it. Matches into needles and beetles into buttons, is it? I'm terribly excited and I really appreciate you helping like this."

He took a mouthful of potatoes to stem the tide of words.

"Ja, we'll start... with slow stuff. Spells first, maybe you can do a small transformation by the end of today's lesson."

Lars is amused by how excited Simon seems to be.

"Really? That would be fantastic!" Simon was really hopeful. And happy at the prospect. "You've been teaching how long? Did you attend Hogwarts as well?"
