Brian usually puts his free time to good use, but for now, he finds himself wandering the halls aimlessly. It'd be nice to come upon someone doing something he could deduct points for, but its just after dinner, so probably too early for that. "Having fun just loitering about?" And he didn't truly expect Brian to recognize him. Last time Brian had seen him he'd been wearing a goth type costume, playing his part of Eric Draven, at the Halloween party.

Brian looks over to the other boy. He doesn't seem familiar.

He cants his head slightly brown eyes watching this boy before him. "I thought not. Not too many people have fun loitering around. Much less loitering around this big ol' school."

Brian narrows his eyes a little.

The voice is familiar, for some reason.

"No, there are better places to loiter."

He adnvances a step.

"Do I know you?"

Gabe was heading up to the Astronomy tower, intrigued to try out something after his talk with the new Divination's professor the other evening. He came through one of the corridors that wasn't usually a place popular for 'lurking' to find the head boy of Slytherin in a heavy discussion with a portrait. This alone was enough to bring a person to a halt, but Gabe had over the years learnt how to disguise surprise and managed instead to just cough lightly, glancing up at the particular picture he had been speaking to, now finished it seemed.

Brian looks over and sees the other boy, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm right. He doesn't know what he's talking about."

He shrugs a shoulder, glancing again at the portrait. "You get that."

He knows Gabriel, vaguely. In the same year, they have had a lot of classes together.

"What are you up to? I'm bored. Do something that I can take points for."
