This was so heartbreakingly good. How you broke up his transfer and wove it with the World Cup was how I imagine it really went. And how Madrid disappeared with the arrival of Mourinho, his talk with Del Bosque about his concentration, and his interactions with his teammates were so sad. Really I could go on about so many things and this comment would be too long. I hope you write him again.

Thank you so much for your generous words. :) I'm always really concerned - perhaps too much so - with plausibility and realism, so I'm so glad to hear the events themselves came across realistically. And of course in real life it may have been much less depressing and I may just be projecting my own feelings over this entire heartbreaking transfer season into one convenient outlet - but that's what fiction's for, right. :) Thank you again, very much!

Oh, and to answer your last comment, I'm definitely planning on writing him again in some way or another. *ruffles his hair*
