I had the same problem with my Philips headphones! I figured I just had abnormally small ears or something. The sound was lovely, for the fifteen seconds I could keep the things attached.
I'm now using a set of noise-muffling earbud headphones from Radio Shack, of all places, and they're pretty nice. The bits that go inside your ears are made of that same soft stuff as the earplugs that the spouse wears so he can sleep when I'm snoring. You have to tug on the backs of your ears to make them fit, and hold them in place while they expand, and after that they're pretty comfortable.
The only drawback is that they really do muffle noise, which means they don't work so well when I do the "put in some headphones so the people at the next table think they have some privacy, and then shamelessly eavesdrop on their conversation" thing.
I miss the days when I could wear regular over-the-head headphones, but they're not so comfortable with glasses.
