Thank you so much for doing this, I am truly grateful ^_^
The comics are the prelude for the KOF 2003 tournament (and it ends abruptly just before the tournament begins)
What??? You mean the comics end just before the beginning of the most interesting part??? How can it be...
I have a very, very hard time believing that K' could defeat Kyo. I still believe that both Kyo and Iori are stronger than K', and that is why SNK made both Kyo and Iori join KoF2001: if only Kyo had joined, he would have defeated K'; but because the conclusion of the NESTS sage required K' to win that trournament, something had to prevent Kyo from defeating K': that something must have been the fight with Iori.
If you are interested, I have the colored untranslated scans of this comic. I can send them to you so you can look at the pretty colored pictures ^_^
Btw, have you managed to download the 2 doujinshi I sent you?
yup. it ended right when the teams are coming to shanghai to join the tournament. i think the message is, "play the game, lazy ass, to know how this ends!" XD
it amazes me too that K' defeats Kyo in the comic he murders Kyo, in fact. (although deep down i want K' to be able to defeat everyone, since he's my favourite character ^^;) *shrugs* but i get the impression that in the comic, kyo wants to be dead - so that's why he lets k' kills him.
ooooh! i would be very glad if you can send me the scans! i have been looking for them in vain - especially since vincent's kingoffighters.com is on hiatus. just send me to my e-mail, OK? thank you very much!
oh yes, i have managed to download the doujins - and I am trying to understand it so that I can make summaries. hold on a little longer, OK ^__^ (but really, girly kyo is so turning me off!)
I actually don't think the guy K' defeats is the real Kyo. I may be very wrong, since I have just looked at the pretty pictures and have no idea what they are saying, but he just doesn't strike me as Kyo. Perhaps he was a clone? Or Kusanagi, created by Chizuru to test K'? Also, whoever he was, K' didn't really murder him: the last punch missed him by mere inches on purpose (K' plays the bad guy, but he is actually pretty nice ;P).
I am sending you the comics with YouSendIt right now :). While I am at it, I also included a list of my doujinshi, so you can choose which ones you want me to send you; the ones with the @@@ at the end are my favorites, but that's my very personal opinion: I am extremely strict about my preferences, and my not include a perfectly good doujinshi among my favorites because I dislike the pairing, or because the art is not good enough, or because the story is too hard to understand without knowing Japanese, or for some other bias.

LOL. i think K' was just boasting when he said he'd send Kyo to hell and such. he got the information he needed, anyway: that maxima (and perhaps kula and diana) are in siberia
( ... )
you have a very good point there, and i have to agree with it. but then there is still hope that k' will grow stronger, better, and more experienced than he is now ^___^
