This is what I wrote when I got home.

I liked tonight’s show which I was sort of surprised about because everybody I knew that saw it before me hated it.  It is not music that was incredibly memorable, but I found the story very intriguing.  So my friend and I were going there and we were in terrible traffic.  I thought I was going to miss the ( Read more... )

But you know how blessed you are, right? I'm ever even going to get to see her perform let alone shake her hand.

SIIIGH, Oh well. You're so lucky!!!!!!!!

I know I am really lucky! And I am sure you will see and meet her eventually! Never give up hope doll!!! I never thought I would see any of my role models...and I have met many. But I have met Patti and I never thought that would ever happen in about a bajillion years. You will get your time :)

YAY! I'm so glad you liked the show and it seemed really interesting. I think I would like it just for the costumes. And how awesome is it that you met Patti again? Even if you didn't get a picture, she has yours and she liked it. I completely understand how you feel though. Some people just don't understand. Different people have different role models, whether it be actors, singers, world leaders. And no matter what anyone says, if they were starstruck, they would do the same thing!!

I always do the same thing at stage doors. I get all stupid and start thinking of crazy ideas even though I know they're insane. Everything you said about Patti, I'd do the same thing with Bette! I'm sorry your friend didn't understand, but I'm glad you got to spend a little bit of time with Patti!!

That comment was huge. Sorry about that!

Yeah, I think if I had more time I could have acted a little more normal, but it was amazing none the less. At least this time I spoke...even if it was something dumb. When I met Bette, I was so young, and my mom had to basically pull it out of me to say anything. It was such a thrill!!!
