( Castiel felt him before he saw him, skulking in the shadows of the kitchen. He knew instantly who it was as he closed the door behind him without bothering to lock it. Why lock it when people just came and went as they damn well pleased? The smell of food filled the small space and made his stomach roll with nausea. He hadn’t eaten since lunch, but he’d just watched a man die and he wasn’t sure how long it would be before he’d be able to eat again. )

I'm proud to say I'm a HUGE Dean and Cassie fan! I wish she was back on the show! Dean and Cassie were HOT! I loved this story! You did a wonderful job and I can't wait for more so... when are you going to continue the Winchester Mafia saga because I'm impatiently waiting. LOL!

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed this story... you read past this point, right? I will be writing more for this. I already have a basic outline for the sequal.

Oh yeah, I read the entire story so many times I've lost count! I'm just waiting for you to add more because I love the Winchester family as a Mafia family. I love that you have Cassie as Dean's true love.

Really? I'm flattered. I'm trying to get chapters up for Tabula Rasa and Pheonix Rising (also featuring Dean/Cassie) so I'm not sure when I'll be starting with the sequel or even wait for the next big bang. LOL... haven't made up my mind yet.

This is just... God, part of me feels like I can't reconcile the Dean I love from the show with Dean-as-mobster-killer. But I'm LOVING this in a very conflicted way regardless.

Now I have to rush off to keep reading!
