I'm going to steal borrow your idea and post my day_on_earth photo in my journal from now on with a link to the original post, instead of just giving the link to my photo. I've realised it's much nicer to see entries with photos (even if you come across the photos twice) than entries with only a link.
Where would you like the comments to your photos though? Here, or in day_on_earth? (I'm assuming day_on_earth for now.)
I always go back to day_on_earth to check for comments or new photos added. But, yeah, I do love opening my journal and seeing all the photos I've taken in chronological order. day_on_earth is such a great group - it inspires me to get out there and take pictures on a semi-regular basis. Plus, I love seeing something from all corners of the world every day. It's really inspiring. :)
