Der Schwarze Blog (German anti-racism media-watch blog)]
A.T.U, a German car supply company, put out a new TV ad to get people to come in for a checkup before driving off to their holidays. The hook: ”so that you return from holidays with a tan and not black from anger”. FYI, "Black from anger" is a common colloquial in German.
So far so bad.
And then they put white actors into blackface to play "who's afraid of the black man?". I wish I was kidding. The white people in the clip are actually scared of the "black" people.

Heye & Partner which came up with this horse dung proudly presents it to the world.
And if you then feel like telling the responsible parties how full of shit they are (in whichever language), I have some addresses for you. Der Schwarze Blog would love to get cc'ed, btw: info[a]derbraunemob.de
