Hi, I lurk, but also am a huge Classics geek...lord knows there's absolutely no other reason to do a degree in Classics...anyhow, I'm just delurking to let you know that you're not alone on being ridiculosely excited about little bits of papyrus being decoded. Also, purely to inspire geek envy, I'm going to Oxford to do research this summer...and may actually get to SEE said Papyrus...I'd take pictures but I think they'd behead me...or at least flog me...they're prett old fashioned at Oxford (:
