I can see how fireside stories would be interesting to listen to, if you were taking Fly Agaric:

Wow, they are beautiful! Why don't I ever find interesting fungi??? I am going to have to go for a walk in the woods.

These were found in the wooded grounds to Leeds Castle. It was pretty wet and mossy, and I'm just please I no longer live with my mother - I can just imagine her reaction to the state of me, when I got home!

Definitely go find your local woods - they are beautiful at this time of year :)
