If there hadn't been so much blood already in the cabin, Angel would have smelled it when Faith cut her wrist and he would have tried to stop her then. However, now that he was holding a mug of warm blood, slayer blood at that, his willpower was dwindling fast.

"Faith...we need you in this fight too." And he knew this much blood would weaken her, regardless of how stoic she was. His words were less effective because he was trying really hard not to drool.

She just shook her head and grinned at Angel, shuffling back and forth from one foot to the other. "You drink that and you'll be like a me and a half."

Faith was just hoping that he'd reach normal strength. He'd be a lot more useful to them than she would, even if she were at her best. Angel himself was a weapon, and Faith, well she just used them and lost them. She wasn't sure how much longer she'd last in this place if it kept cutting her down like this. She was already weaker than normal, and it was starting to psyche her out. At least she could help Angel at the moment; be useful for once.

Angel quirked an eyebrow at her. He felt like there was something more underneath all of this but he wasn't sure what. He was missing something, definitely. He sighed heavily because in a way, she was right. If there was a fight, he needed to be in it but so did she. She just didn't realize that yet. He caved and took a sip of the blood, closing his eyes and tried not to look like it tasted as damn good as it did. Slayer blood was like Kristal.

From the moment the blood slid down his throat he could feel things start to knit together and heal. He sat up straighter, felt more alive, more invincible. More of everything.

"We still need to find you a healer," he told her after he'd taken a couple of sips, trying not to gulp his dinner. "And Faith...thank you."

Tugging at the towel she'd wrapped around the self-inflicted wound, Faith nodded. She didn't make eye contact, her glance roaming around to the doorway, the fridge - anywhere but Angel. She didn't love being thanked, and she wasn't concerned with herself at the moment.

"Yeah, sure. No sweat," she finally said. "Things are gonna get pretty sketchy out there. You sure those other guys won't just throw you to the wolves? The one dude looked seriously pissed at getting suggestions." It was a distraction from everything; Angel's drinking, they conversation he'd probably wanna have about Faith and her needing to heal. Distractions were good sometimes.

Betsy headed into the kitchen to find a few more supplies; water bottles, any sort of first aid kits if such a thing existed here in the cabins, then paused as she spied the two already in residence.

And, from the scent in the air, she doubted that was coffee the man was drinking. But her first reflexive brush with his psyche revealed he wasn't even human, therefore it wasn't that much of a surprise.

Psylocke had encountered a few vampires before, granted, but they'd been on the "other side". Here, however, there was only one side, and they all needed to survive. But she nodded cordially, dark blue eyes taking in the girl's many bruises and contusions.

"Are you in need of a healer, dear?" she asked the girl, but the telepath gave the vampire a knowing glance.

Angel was jumping in because he knew Faith. She'd brush off her injuries and posture like she was on top of the world. He was fairly aware from the glance that the girl knew he wasn't human but then that wasn't much of a stretch when he'd admitted to being over 250 years old in the meeting.

"Yes. Her back is torn up. She could use someone to help her." The look he gave Faith was his stern 'just do it' look. He wasn't entirely sure Faith would listen to him but it couldn't hurt. He was one of the few people she would listen to.

As for Angel, he was literally healing before their eyes. Wounds were closing up, his throat was healing and by the time he finished this mug of blood, nothing would hurt. He'd be superman. Or at least he'd feel like him.

Having followed the scent of blood, Spike walked in frowning, before spotting Angel along side a healer and a young woman. Putting two and two together, he smirked cheekily before walking slowly up to Angel, tilting his head and grinning.

My oh my, what a terribly bad puppy. You know Angel, it would have been polite to share.

Angel glared in response to Spike's presence. He took a slow deliberate sip of blood, taunting the younger vampire.

"The lady didn't offer to feed you."
