Change can seriously blow. Believe me, I am terrified of it. But it can also be a good thing. You can find a more stable company where you won't have to worry about being fired every 2 minutes. That will lighten your stress load a bit. Also, you're smart. You'll be able to get a new job really fast. Worse comes to worse you can temp like I've been. It's fun fillin' boxen!

I am sorry, btw, that you have to go through this. iT really sucks.

i'll be getting paid until the end of the month... i wasn't actually fired or anything. the place burned down and it looked like they were going to try to temporarily relocate pretty quickly, and it just didn't happen, and things weren't going as smoothly as they hoped, and basically it's going to be 6-8 months until the new place is built.

except it was put to me in a different way last night.... the madame came up to me today and held my hand and said she was sorry for what happened last night.

Not that this helps, but the whole thing is so wildly unbelievable. In a horrible sort of way. It would be so hard for me to move on or do anything because I would just be sitting there for two weeks pointing at nothing and going, "but, see, I work there." You can find something even better.
