Christmas Ficbits

I'm alive. No, really. And I'll get into fandom again, soon... anyone want to beta a whole huge backlog of half-finished stuff I have, and tell me what's worth finishing?

Anyway, okay, Happy Ecumenical Snowflake Day, here's the deal: you give me a pairing or character or situation or idea or whatever, preferably from books/anime/manga/comics/TV/ ( Read more... )

Bellatrix/Sirius. Maybe she taunts him with it in Azkaban later.

(Ugh. The tenses like this get all weird.)

Azkaban's all alike, day in, day out. Same walls, same wails, same food, same wanks, even. Well, maybe not.

He kept his memories, those memories, all through it, the good bits as much as the deep, raw ache in his jaw and teeth for Wormtail's throat. Bottled them up like wine and savored them like rare vintages. It kept him alive as much as the burning need for vengeance, but he'd never admit it to Harry. He kept them wrapped up in the back of his head, like the bowl of old aster-glass marbles Grandmother Black had kept, each one a perfect round starscape, a universe in itself. A hand on his cock wasn't enough to take him out of his head, and the memories of every last shag, grope, and kiss weren't enough to take him out of Azkaban, but together they were a relief, used sparingly enough ( ... )

(I doubt this is quite what you were expecting, but... it was too easy!)

The rivalry with Luke (he's still Luke to me) has gotten me into some weird situations, over the years. There was that endurance race that started in Tiajauna, ended in Juneau, and featured the only time I've eaten dog outside the Golden Circle. There was all the raiding and counter-raiding: corporate, pirate, and fridge. There was the time we thought we were going after the same girl, a blonde ambassador to the the Golden Circle, and wound up harem-brothers in the seraglio of the Priest-Queen of shadow Qarthe ... on second thought, forget that one.

But this was different. The stakes weren't as high as other games we'd played, but we were closely matched. Too closely matched. I watched him across our chosen battlefield. Breathing easy but a bit quicker than usual, red hair a little ruffled from where he'd ran a hand through it, just the faintest hint of a smile at the corners of his lips. Luke has a great poker face, but I've gotten good at reading him over ( ... )

Oh my god, I LOVE IT! *dies laughing*

But is it the old-style, where you actually went shopping and they always had the cash left over for the ceramic dalmation? :)

I will not. But, alas, I haven't read enough to fic it, really, and even if I had, I'm not that... that... that... well, you know what I mean. I doubt I have it in me to do it justice.

Would Planetary do ya? That's about the highest level of weird I can hit.
