I know they're all at it (er, self-marketing, I mean), but the LSBF (sounds like a festival for sexual minorities, and there may well be students and staff at the London School of Business and Finance who agree) are really pulling out all the tacky stops in their current "Be a student and get a free iPad 2!" campaign

lol, i guess they just increased the fees to pay for the ipads, it's not really a free ipad.

Yes, I had hoped that my exclamation mark would denote a suitable level of sarcasm/implied incredulity. In a domestic setting, a comparable "freebie" would be one of those hard disk video recorders courtesy of Rupert Murdoch.
