Question about Job Application Attachments

I'm applying for a sessional teaching job.  The course I'd be teaching is similar to one I've already taught.  I've noted this in my cover letter but would be advantageous to include the syllabus I taught previously or would this be shooting myself in the foot (because the hiring committee could look at the syllabus and conclude they don't like it ( Read more... )

If they are not asking for a syllabus, don't include it. If they want to see one, they will ask for it.

Yeah, it's better to send only what they ask, but you might note in your cover letter that you have a sample syllabus available and you would be happy to send it if they requested it.
