i got my acceptence letter for admission to the 2006-2007 MLitt in Medieval History program from St. Andrews today. I whooped and hollered in the mail room, shook uncontrolably,cried with relief, and called my father. then i took out the trash as a sign of being able to do anything.

thank you thank you. i'm still waiting to hear back from Toronto, which is my first choice, but St, Andrews is a very nice and very close second. all in all, it's good to still be in the academia loop.

Congratulations! I dated a guy in the Medieval History program while I was at St Andrews - you should have a good experience, and it's a neat little place to spend a year.
